On April 4, 2022, the beloved pastime will debut in Canada’s most populous region.

Two more gambling businesses have entered the game as the start of sports betting in Ontario approaches. BetMakers has partnered with CrossBet, an online sports betting service.

BetMakers will provide its sports wagering platform for CrossBet’s business in Canada under this new partnership. This is a significant step forward for the company, which is currently ready to launch in New Jersey.

The executives of BetMakers, for one, see this as a significant potential.

“We are pleased to power the CrossBet brand with our patented wagering technology,” said Christian Stuart, BetMakers’ North American CEO. As we continue to make inroads into the North American wagering sector, launching in Ontario will be a significant milestone for BetMakers.”

The provider’s horseracing-focused product will allow CrossBet to join PointsBet and theScore as one of the first operators to start in Canada.

“We are very thrilled to work with BetMakers for CrossBet’s first push into international expansion via the Canadian Market,” said Scott Cross, CEO and Founder of CrossBet.

“BetMakers has proven important in our growth plan in Australia, so it was a no-brainer to keep the connection going as we strive to continue our rapid expansion in Ontario.” We are certain that BetMakers’ industry-leading technology will provide us with the resources we require to successfully implement our worldwide expansion strategy.”

This is BetMakers’ first foray into the North American sports betting market. However, the two companies had already collaborated on the introduction of CrossBet in Australia.
