In January, nearly all of Wynn Macau’s employees will receive a bonus for their accomplishments in 2021.
All qualified Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace team workers will receive a “special allowance” equal to one month’s gross income on January 28. This represents 97.8% of the company’s 12,000-strong staff.
This is “to convey the company’s appreciation to all team members for their collaborative efforts during the last hard year,” Wynn Macau stated in a statement.
“The company has been able to ensure the continuity and enhancement of its renowned service culture and hospitality standards, as well as helped to protect the health of all colleagues and Wynn guests, thanks to the exceptional level of loyalty, commitment, and discipline demonstrated by all Wynn team members,” the East Asian casino operator added.
Wynn Macau also stated that its employees had reacted well to the city’s immunization campaign, with over 90% of the company’s workforce having been vaccinated.
“The immunization percentage for Wynn team members has now reached 94.2 percent, which will aid in the community’s herd immunity,” it stated.
Other corporations with operations in Macau have already offered similar bonuses. “Eligible team members at senior management grade and lower” will get a “one-time special payment” from Galaxy Entertainment. This is estimated to cover 97% of the workforce.
Similarly, MGM China will offer eligible employees a “one-time discretionary payment,” while Sands China will award a “discretionary stipend” to “more than” 25,000 full-time employees.
After Macau reported its second instance of the new Omicron strain, the company made the news.
