On five continents, Scientific Games has been awarded the World Lottery Association’s (WLA) Responsible Gaming Framework Certificate of Alignment.
Scientific Games received the WLA award after a rigorous assessment of its continuing improvement in terms of responsible gaming standards throughout all of its lottery activities, including both retail and digital products and services.
An independent, multinational panel of experts in CSR conducted the audit.
“In the worldwide lottery sector, Scientific Games has truly established its leading role within responsible gaming,” said Mélissa Azam, Senior CSR Manager of the World Lottery Association.
“Scientific Games’ Healthy Play programme, which offers lotteries with practical tools to assist their own responsible gaming programmes, underlines the company’s commitment to the future of the lottery business and its incorporation of the WLA Responsible Gaming Principles throughout the organisation.”
“WLA is pleased to endorse Scientific Games’ Global Responsible Gaming Certification and congratulates the company on its long-standing and ongoing commitment to responsible gaming,” says WLA.
Scientific Games launched the Healthy Play programme in 2020, with the goal of promoting healthy game enjoyment through player education.
Scientific Games has also developed a responsible gaming training curriculum for lottery employees, which can be customised in terms of content and languages to guarantee that the entire firm is aware of and understands healthy, responsible lottery play.
In 2022, the company plans to launch a Healthy Play website that can be customised for specific lotteries and accessed through QR code by lottery stakeholders.
Scientific Games is a gaming company that serves 130 lotteries in 50 countries with games, technology, and services.
