The shortlist for the Global Gaming Awards London 2022 has been announced, and 0 Spiel is excited to share it with you.
The London edition of the Global Gaming Awards honours operators and providers who have excelled outside of the Americas in the last 12 months.
The event in 2022 will feature 15 categories, including Gaming of the Year, which will return after a 12-month hiatus due to the forced closure of many casino venues.
“The year 2021 was certainly busy for the gambling business,” remarked Julian Perry, Editor-in-Chief of Gambling Insider. “We’ve seen a number of mergers and acquisitions, as well as a lot of new and innovative product releases, and most significantly, we’ve seen the land-based industry rebound from the pandemic downturn, so we’re very thrilled to celebrate all of this at our Awards.”
All of the companies on the shortlist are being contacted right now, so keep an eye on your inbox. Companies are nominated on the basis of merit, with the reason for their selection published in the official Shortlist publication. It is also visible to the Judging Panel during the voting process, with a consistent amount of nominees across the Shortlist for each corporate category.
The entire Shortlist magazine will be released in early January, but those who want to celebrate their nominations now can do so on social media by using the hashtag #GGA2022 and we’ll reshare your tweets.
